    • Confidence-based Learning Guidelines

With confidence based learning you express your level of confidence along with your opinion. If your opinion is judged to be correct, you get a score of 1 when Not confident,  2 when Unsure and 3 when Very confident. If you are wrong you get 0 when Not confident, -2 when Unsure and -6 when Very confident. Your goal is to attain the maximum score by being right and Very confident. If you believe there is more than a 1 in 3 chance of being wrong, you are advised to select a confidence level of Not confident and avoid the risk of a large negative score.
